This pathway is very steep so the levels had to be dug out and steps created
Steps were dug out and railway sleepers were placed down and infilled with 20mm golden gravel. Detacheable decking steps were built to external door.
Before: House corner also needed sprucing up.
Afterwards: Railway sleeper used as step and victorian rope top edging placed along pathway to contain gravel.
Before: The client wanted the path to follow the line of the house, with good sized beds for respective planting.
Afterwards: Gravel and victorian rope top edging.
Before: A new conservatory had been built and the client wanted a patio area leading to lawn. The plot also had a dramatic drop in levels so we had to allow for a depth of one step onto the lawn.
Afterwards: Patio made from Old English Yorkstone in random layout. Edged with soft red brick in keeping with the house architecture.
Before: The soil was very compressed after building works. The levels needed to be taken out and good quality top soil bought in. Soil had to be mattocked out and removed from site.
Afterwards: Rolawn medallion turf laid down to blend in with existing lawn.
